The optimized AOTTG vanilla-ish mod! What is it?!?
This is a version of the vanilla game with RC's titan optimization code and a few more options, with the end goal of maximizing performance and usability. Check the video for the specifics. So far the feedback has been positive, with people having better performance than when they use the vanilla game or the RC mod. That said, unless you absolutely need to squeeze out a little more FPS, I recommend using the RC mod as it is also optimized and is packed full of amazing features.

Installation?
This mod comes in two formats, a bookmarklet and a packed exe. I highly recommend using the bookmarklet over the exe version, as in most cases it will run smoother. (CURRENTLY VERY OUTDATED, WILL BE UPDATED SOON)
For the bookmarklet:
Drag this thingy to your bookmark bar.

After that thing is on your bookmark bar, go to the AOTTG page. When the game finishes loading, click the bookmarklet to make the game load the optimized client.

Beta Edition?!?
This is my test branch, where all new features will be put out for testing before being implemented into the main mod. Expect frequent Player Prefs wipes. And don't worry, I won't upload anything that's totally broken (On purpose). (CURRENTLY MAIN VERSION, WILL UPDATE MAIN BRANCH SOON)

So I haven't updated this at all, the beta version contains a ton of features and once I squash a few bugs it will be going onto the main branch. Here's a tentative list of new features.
-New small and large optimizations to try to pull out a few more Frames
-A revamped options menu, includes new game options like a volume slider
-A Gas Trail toggler has been added by request.
-UI Togglers have been added. Simply deselect different UI elements to hide them from the screen. Try playing with the entire UI disabled in TPS, it's crazy!
----There's a bug with the stylish bar and it not disappearing properly. I'm aware and it's being fixed.
-Reel Rebind is in, it's basically identical to RC's reel rebind.
-Colored names have been fixed.
New patch coming soon to hopefully fix the stylish bar bug, then I'll do a day or two more of testing and update the main branch.

Gas burst sliding bug fixed.
Host can now kick anyone on the server without a vote.
Can now use custom server list. This means that only people with Optimized Vanilla can join games hosted while the custom server list option is checked.
RC large titan compatibility is standard. You can join your friend's RC server and play with giant titans without a problem!
Ingame FPS counter implemented, check the box on the pause menu.
Ingame Speedometer added, check the box on the pause menu.
-Two modes, normal and damage lingo. Normal shows speed in units/second, damage lingo shows the actual damage you will get assuming you hit at that instant and don't lose speed while hitting. When using guns the lingo mode will calculate damage based on using a single shot.
-Restart the game when disabling the wind tunnels for it to take effect.
